”The Essence of Fashion”

Photogram series "X-Ray"
The process of deciding how to present ourselves is quite meticulous. Clothes form our identity and our style reflects our values. This series of photogram artworks explores what lies beneath the surface of our fashion choices. This technique reminds me of X-ray images, that are ultimately delving into the deeper meaning behind what we wear. My photogram series involved using light-sensitive paper which was exposed to light resulting in unique silhouettes of clothing items and accessories.

BACKSTAGE & project explanation
Interpretation of the material and immaterial aspects of Fashion Art.
"WithOut" project embodies two parallel realities in which clothes exist.
The photographs illustrate models gradually disappearing from the frame,
redirecting the emphasis from themselves to the clothes,
making the garments the main character.
Clothes, as if frozen in space, completely repeat the volumes and movements of the body — only a visual trace of life without the presence of a person remains.

As Head of the Art Department, I crafted a visual narrative that seamlessly blended the glamour of disco chic with the raw authenticity of countryside 'vrai vie.' Conceptualised the visual representation of the plot: character styling, hair & make up, the set design.
